Nursery had the opportunity to observe the lifecycle of a butterfly up close. When the caterpillars arrived they were extremely tiny! We named them Lula, Wriggles and Star. At first, they were eating a lot! Just like in “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” story that we have been reading in class. Then they made a chrysalis and finally emerged as butterflies!
